Stylish Blogger Award

I am so excited because I have just received the Stylish Blogger Award!  *zoomies around the room*  This award was presented to me by Paris and John over at dogtipper.  Thank you so much, Paris and John...it is a great honor!

A side note for dogtipper: if you haven't ever visited the site, then you are missing out! The site has over 3,000 pages that include dog tips, pet product reviews and information about dog travel (my favorite topic) as well as a blog directory! If you have a blog and you haven't joined the dogtipper directory, you should. It's a great way for others to find you and for you to find new blogs to read!

Now, back to the Stylish Blogger Award. This award comes with some responsibilities and they are:

• Thank the blogger who gave the award. (I did that already but...THANK YOU Paris and John!)
• Share 7 things about yourself/your pets.
• Pass the award onto 15 other bloggers.

I am going to do my best to fulfill these responsibilities, however I am not sure I can find 15 other blogs that have not received this award already. Let's see what happens.

7 Things About Me

1. Daddy-dog gave me to Ma as a gift (not a surprise gift though, Ma did pick me) and so Ma thinks I am "her dog" but I think I am "Daddy-dog's dog", as I prefer to work in the garage with Daddy-dog then to be cuddled by Ma. (Sorry, but I hate cuddling.)

2. I am bilingual and I know all my commands, some tricks (and most food) in both English and Spanish. Ex: 'sit' and 'sientate', 'cracker' and 'galleta'.

3. Though I know all my commands in two languages, the command I continually ignore in either language is 'come'. Usually when someone says "Oscar, come" I walk in the opposite direction.

4. I do not know how to dig. Cairn terriers are supposed to be superb diggers but I have never figured out how to do it. (I have gone through the motions, but generally it has been when I am inside the house and on the leather furniture which does not go over well with Ma and Daddy-dog.)

5. I can hear critters moving about under the ground but can never get to them (reference answer #4). I have been known to hear them under the dirt, sniff the dirt and then run and do a face-plant into the ground to try and get them. (As you can imagine, this does not work.)

6. I am a hoarder. The more toys, chews and bones I can get in and around my crate, the better and yes, I sleep in the crate with all my stuff. When I am out on a walk and I see a toy in the grass...I pick it up and carry it home to my crate. You can never have too much stuff.

7. I cry when I chase bunnies. There, I said it. I don't bark, I don't growl...I run after them while emitting a high-pitched cry.
