Have You Tried MilkOpet Yet?

That is what my good friend Pepper Pomeranian (from the blog Pepper's Paws) asked me a few weeks ago - Have you tried MilkOpet yet?

I said I had not.  I said I didn't even know what it was.  She laughed at me (a friendly laugh, but a laugh all the same).  Being the good friend that she is, Pepper sent me a secret package in the mail.

Package received!

As is customary, I gave the package a proper inspection before it was opened.

Package inspection - "All clear!"
Of course, I could smell something (delicious) in the box...but I was not really sure what it was.  Needless to say, I could not wait for Ma to open it.

As it turns out, Pepper sent me a sample of MilkOpet.

So, what is MilkOpet?
MilkOpet is 100% lactose-free, nutritionally enhanced cow's milk for dogs that comes from the world's most renowned dairy region - southern-most Australia and New Zealand.  The MilkOpet company has sought the advice of world-leading veterinarian nutritionists in formulating dairy milk to be an optimal drink for dogs.

MilkOpet comes in three formulas for dogs in the life stages of Puppy, Adult and Less Active.  With the lactose removed, milk is a naturally ideal substance to provide essential nourishment for dogs.  The MilkOpet company adds naturally-sourced omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, calcium and protein, along with other vitamins and minerals that are beneficial to maintaining a dog's health.

You're curious, aren't you?
Now I bet you're asking...Oz, did you try it?  Did you take it straight up or over kibble?

I did try it.  I tried it right away.  And I tried it straight up, because that's the way I roll.  I had Ma pour some right into my food dish.

I really, really liked it.  It was good to the last slurp!  (You may want to turn up the volume on this video to hear my slurping - BOL!)

MilkOpet comes sealed in freshness-locking, long life packaging that does not need to be refrigerated until opened.

Do you want to try MilkOpet?
Well, you are in luck if you do!  Though Pepper only sent me a secret stash, she is running a Give Away for one lucky winner on her blog.

You can enter Pepper's MilkOpet Give Away HERE

Pepper's MilkOpet Give Away is open until April 10 (I think...could be April 9).  But that's still plenty of time to try and get your paws on some delicious MilkOpet lactose-free milk for dogs.

As MilkOpet says..."Rethink Milk".

I say, "Got MilkOpet?"  (And why yes I do...I still have two more in my secret stash!)

Thank You Pepper!

  6. It does sound good, is it designed for dogs that aren't getting their proper nutrients from their food, or for dogs who might not be feeling well and need something unique to entice them?

    1. You know, Jodi...I think it would probably work the best as an enticement to a sick dog, or any dog not getting proper nutrition, to get them some additional fluids and nutrients. It can be poured over kibble - like cereal and milk - or just drank like milk.

  15. I am just wondering if dogs really need milk when they are grown. Mom said that cats don't need milk as adults...It might be a tasty treat, though.

    1. I don't know. I am thinking senior dogs may need the extra protein and calcium, like human seniors to fight off bone loss/osteoporosis. I don't know about normal adult dogs...though I do like a little milk ever now and again for a treat. I didn't realize dogs couldn't digest lactose...I have regular milk all the time and it doesn't cause any problems for me.
