#ScoopThatPoop: PoopBuddy and Scooper Oz

Recently, my good friends at PoopBuddy sent me a package.

Inside was an assortment of "eco-friendly and chic" poop bags and an interesting little "poopcessory"...a Bag Buddy.

PoopBuddy's timing in sending me this package couldn't be better, as who couldn't use more poop bags?!?  You use them every day, right?!?  Well, you should be using poop bags every day to Scoop That Poop!  It's the responsible thing to do.

If you sign up with PoopBuddy, they will deliver poop bags to you on a schedule.  You can sign up monthly, for 3 months (which saves you 10%), and even for 6 months (which is only $8/month).  You will also get the handy Bag Buddy.

Ma especially loves the Bag Buddy; we took it with us on our last camping trip to Anastasia State Park.  It helps you carry your used poop bag until you can find a garbage disposal can.  At Anastasia State Park, we used it to carry my poop out of the woods.  We also used it when we found poop from other dogs whose owners did NOT Scoop That Poop within the park!  Grrrrrrr.

PoopBuddy was so nice and even sent my good friend Pepper Pom the same package and we have not stopped talking about scooping the poop since.  I tell you, Pepper asked me some of the funniest questions about camping, like:

1.  When you go camping, do you ever sniff poop from other species?  Or is it only from dogs whose humans aren't considerate enough to scoop?
While camping, I have seen/sniffed other dogs' poop and that makes me mad!  We camp at State Parks and owners are REQUIRED to scoop the poop but some do NOT, which makes us all look bad.  Ma and Daddy-dog ALWAYS scoop the dog poop if they see it; they want to help keep the parks clean for everyone.

And YES, Pepper!!!  When I was camping I sniffed poop from other species including raccoon poop, squirrel poop, bunny poop, and deer poop to name a few.  You know I love "bunny chocolates" (bunny poop) wherever I find it!  BOL

2.   Have you ever gotten your poop (or someone else's) inside your tent?
Dear dawg, NO!  Ma would be so upset; she keeps the inside of our tent nice and clean!  Like I said, we scoop dog poop even if it isn't mine so no one will step in it and bring it into their tent.  The poop from other species is usually pretty dried up when you find it on a trail, though sometimes it's fresh...but you just don't step in it (however, if it's bunny chocolates I try to go in for a taste).

I am so grateful to PoopBuddy for sending me this package of colorful poop bags and the Bag Buddy.  I am now stocked up and ready to Be a Scooper Hero and Scoop That Poop along with my friends Sugar the Golden Retriever, Garth Riley, Gizmo, Emma, Boingy Dog and My Pawsitively Pets.

Thanks to PoopBuddy, I am...Scooper Oz!

I am "Scooper Oz"...making humans #ScoopThatPoop!

About PoopBuddy
Like you, we care about the planet but sometimes we are too busy or forget to restock on poop bags - hey, accidents happen.  We wanted something more than the drab eco bags, without going to the store.  And that's how PoopBuddy was born - to encourage dog parents to pick up after their dogs in fab style while saving the planet without worrying about running out of bags.

Because we introduce you to a variety of awesome brands, the bags differ in composition. No bag is 100% plastic and all contain vegetable-based materials or natural ingredients.  Natural ingredients include plant resin, corn starch and other oxo-biodegradable materials.

  14. We have people who seem to leave "packages" in our front yard. Since our dogs only poop in the fenced in back yard or while on leash walking, we know that some of our neighbors just don't scoop.

We got lots of poop bags at the summer rescue fundraisers. It seemed everybody was offering them to make sure the areas we were visiting stayed clean.

  18. Our pet peeve is pet areas at interstate rest stops. Just because it is the designated pet area doesn't mean you don't have to clean up after your pet. It makes it nicer for the next pets that need to use it!

  27. I love Poop Buddy, the idea of the subscription service and their philosophy. The owners have REALLY done their homework on the dangers that pet waste poses to humans and the environment.

I was a tad disappointed because the yellow roll of bags in this package (the one with words on the right) was not sealed well at the seam. Easily 50% of the bags came apart at the seam when I opened them and put them over my hand to scoop the poop. Good thing I was not in a hurry and didn't notice. Poop hand anyone? Ha, ha. I am curious if it was just my roll or if you encounter the same problem.

  28. Amazingly awesome post and LOVE the video! Gonna look into poop buddy - having the bags come when they're needed is a great idea!

  29. Hubby picked up some nicely scented bags which make carrying it so much easier!! (Less smell.) As you know, we have a bunch of lazy people up where I am, I wish there was a way to get them to understand responsibility.

  30. Lingy Dingy Ringy Helloooooo Oz The Great One ~ You had me concerned when you said they sent you a bag ~ I thought OH No someone is sending Oz Poop in the mail. You do such a great job of cleanup I though maybe they thought you needed more to clean up. Now I like those Itsy Bitsy Raisins that Mr. Hippity Hoppity makes also, one can never get enough of those all natural products. Sorry I missed scoop the poop day.
