I have joined up with my good friend, Sugar the Golden Retriever, for our 3rd #ScoopThatPoop blog hop.
The theme of this month's #ScoopThatPoop hop is right up my alley - Poop Poetry!
Don't worry...There is still time for you to write a poop poem or saying to join in the fun as our #ScoopThatPoop blog hop is open all week. We have prizes sponsored by the nice people at Earth Rated for one lucky blogger and one lucky non-blogger - Earth Rated poop bags and a dispenser.
I am not entering the contest but I could not resist writing some poop poetry, especially a Limerick.
There are many dogs in a walking group
at Garden of the Gods, they hike each loop.
You see, Coloradans are kinder,
they leave a gentle reminder
for everyone to Scoop That Poop.
Here's another poem:
Pups poop
On the grass.
Oh, don't be crass
Please remember to scoop!
Scooper Oz says: Be Responsible. Be a Scooper Hero. #ScoopThatPoop

ReplyDeleteI guess technically we could have pawticipated since Mom does scoop my poop...just not out of doors.

Well, Madi...I guess it is hard to participate in outdoor Scoop That Poop when you poop in a litter box. BOL

ReplyDeleteThanks Spencer!

Bailey, Hazel & Greta
You can still write your poop poem! The hop and contest is open all week!
DeleteLoved it Oz. We always Poop then Scoop. xxooxx
ReplyDeleteMollie and Alfie
Oh Mollie....you are so silly. I am glad you always scoop!
DeleteThat's a lovely hiking spot - so it needs to stay that way! Love the "gentle reminder" sign. I think folks do best with "gentle" reminders! Great poems, as usual Oz!
ReplyDeleteThe gentle reminder seemed to be working out there in CO. I think here in FL we need a less gentle approach for some.
DeleteDid Mom & Dad get to hike there Oz? Looks really beautiful...and you look quite dapper in your bright orange bandana
ReplyDeleteYes Giz, they did and they said it was beautiful (though a bit cold - BOL)!
DeleteWe will have to put our thinking caps on to come up with a poop poem this week. Well done Oz.
ReplyDeleteMillie & Walter
Excellent! I look forward to reading it.
DeleteBravo Oz! We are doing a lot of wcooping here MOL! Thanks for the hugs my friend.
ReplyDeleteBOL...you poor dear, Brian. I hope you get to feeling better soon!

It was very nice, Sheba. Thanks.
DeleteWell, you know I don't do poetry. BOL! But I am all in favor of every human scooping their dog's poop!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Pepper
That was awesome Oz, love the scoop sign in Colorado how appropriate for your ma to see that there and be able to add it to the post.
ReplyDeleteOz my friend! I knew you would not disappoint!
ReplyDeleteGarth
Now that is a fantastic poem!
ReplyDeleteFab poo poems Oz! I need to put my thinking cap on and come up with a poem :-)
ReplyDeleteI went to the Garden of the Gods years ago in college. As a geologist I absolutely loved it. That was before dog but I am happy to hear it IS dog friendly. If I am ever on a road trip there with Chester and Gretel I definitely want to stop. And we will be sure to scoop our poop :)
