As you can see, I have been busy getting ready for the holidays. I helped decorate our tree and I pulled out all of my Christmas toys in anticipation of Santa Paws' arrival.
But all this holiday hub-bub got me wondering...
What does Santa do if he has to poop while out delivering gifts? I mean, he is gone ALL NIGHT. Does he use someone's bathroom?
Also, if a reindeer poops on the roof does Santa Scoop That Poop? If reindeer are magic and can fly, then why isn't their poop able to just magically disappear?
But the biggest question I have is...why, when pet parents go visiting for the holidays, do they conveniently "forget" to Scoop That Poop?
I cannot tell you how many piles I have found since the holiday visitors are here! There is poop everywhere. And I think there is a dog that actually poops while it is walking...because there are poops scattered all over the sidewalks.
Talk about the holidays being a busy time of year?!? I have been on Poop Patrol on every walk. Which got me thinking...
What is a great, last minute Christmas gift for the pet parent who has everything (or the one who is mindless about poop on walks)?
A PoopBuddy subscription of course! You can never have enough poop bags, I say.
I used my November PoopBuddy package to test out different gift wrap options. The poop bags fit perfectly in a small box.
They also fit perfectly in a stocking. (I am giving Daddy-dog poop bags in his Christmas stocking...shhhhhhh.)
My friends at PoopBuddy don't just give you poop bags each month. They put little surprises in the package like the Fruitables Bison Skinny Minis and The Honest Kitchen supplement I got in November.
They are promising a really great surprise for the December package but they won't tell me exactly what is in there. PoopBuddy the Secretive Santa! BOL
And PoopBuddy donates 10% of each purchase to shelters and rescues so a PoopBuddy subscription is like 2 gifts in 1.
But I am going to make it an even better gift. If you purchase your PoopBuddy subscription through my affiliate link (yes, that means I get a dollar or two from your purchase) and use my code SCOOPEROZ, you will get 20% off your first month AND...any monies I get for your December purchases will be donated to my local shelter. That's like 4 gifts in 1!
Scooper Oz says: Please don't be a party pooper...Scoop That Poop when you are visiting family and friends during the holidays.
Mark your calendars for our #ScoopThatPoop blog hop on January 20th. I will remind you about the hop closer to the date and I will let you know what our theme will be too. As always, a big *high paw* to my great friend, Sugar, for the #ScoopThatPoop campaign!
Ha ha Oz he thought of Santa stopping off to scoop the poop.
ReplyDeleteHave a marvellous Monday.
Best wishes Molly
Well, he should be scooping if they are pooping!
DeleteThose would make a great gift, and a good hint for the non scoopers out there.
ReplyDeleteThey would and yes, you are right...a good hint for the non-scoopers.
DeleteI imagine the visitors didn't bring their supply of bags with them and think what the heck, it's only for a few days....OR...they never scoop the poop at home either ;-)
ReplyDeleteBut we take our poop bags and dispenser with us everywhere. It's attached to the leash! Honestly, I think they just don't care because they don't live here. So sad.
Deletethat is great idea......and what a cool company to give back a little too
ReplyDeleteI thought so...especially since PoopBuddy delivers each month. The person doesn't even need to think about it.
DeleteBOL!! Magic reindeer poop! Visitors are funny. Some don't scoop, then others who normally don't scoop will scoop because they are being polite to their hosts. Easier just to scoop all the time!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Pepper
I agree! Just scoop all the time...it will make everyone happy.
DeleteYou should have Scooped the Visitor's Poops.... and as their peeps were Leaving.... Handed the bags to them... saying... You wouldn't want to furget THESE, now WOULD you !!!! THAT would get the MESSage across to them... QUICKLY.
ReplyDeleteI should leave it as bags of "coal" on their doorsteps on Christmas Eve! (Or is that too mean?)
DeleteSanta better be scoopin!
ReplyDeleteLily
Don't I know it, Lily!
Deleteheeheeee. I like the "bags of coal" idea. Problem is - at least here - we just see the aftermath. We never catch the perpetrators. People can be so darn lazy!
ReplyDeletePeople can be lazy but they should pick up the poop! It's not fair to everyone else.
DeleteI bet that's a super gift, maybe I should fill dad's stocking the same way? Thanks for s super post, Oz.
ReplyDeleteMaybe you should, Easy. Then dad can pick up all your poop! You know how the humans like to save poop.
DeleteThose are excellent questions OZ. What does Santa do? BOL!
ReplyDeletehugs
Mr Bailey, Hazel & Greta
I don't know! Inquiring minds want to know....
DeleteWow, how rude. You could use your bags as a not-so-discreet, but polite way of asking guests to pick up :)
ReplyDeleteWe LOVE the post, especially about Santa pooping--why hasn't that crossed our minds? Hah!
Lots of ruv,
The PoopBuddy Pack
Thank you, Poop Ninja! It only just crossed my mind...Santa and poop...what does he do?!?
DeleteI will be watching those reindeer very closely this year!
ReplyDeleteMe too! BOL
DeleteThe only comment I can come up with about all your visitors leaving poop around is that it stinks! Sorry to hear that, we are lucky that most pick up around here and we aren't a tourist destination, so not many visitors...especially in the winter.
ReplyDeleteIt is just a shame. Most of the people who live here scoop, so they should tell their visitors to scoop too.
DeleteRoooo I love this product - I'm gonna tell Santa Paws I want some *Waggy tail*
ReplyDeleteWoofs from Alfie

That's a very useful gift idea. We got those bison skinny minis in our BarkBox and the pups loved them!
ReplyDeleteI made sure to put poop bags on our holiday travel packing list. Thanks, Oz! :)
ReplyDeleteThat's a great reminder. Thanks Oz xx
ReplyDeleteGolden LAUGHS Oz :-) reindeer poops on your roof. Oh my, that's a big poop and I know its not yours Oz. You've been a PAWsome Poop Patrol and Scooper. #ScoopThatPoop. Lots of Golden Woofs, Sugar
ReplyDeleteMa just LOVES savin' my poops in bags....I wonder what she does with it all.....
ReplyDeleteKisses,
Ruby ♥
Great questions Oz.
ReplyDeleteMaybe Santa has a Porta-potty attached to the rear of his sleigh. We certainly hope he scoops the reindeer poop.
Being indoor cats this is not something we have to worry about (that's mama's job, MOL) but we hope everyone else scoops.
Kitty Kisses,
Cindi Lou & The Kitty Krew
since we have never found reindeer poop on our roof, i think santa is a scooper. as far as santa "goes", i think he holds it until he gets back to the north pole. he's much to busy to take a bathroom break.
ReplyDeletei totally agree with you- poopie bags are the perfect gift for the dog person that has everything!
wags, bailey unleashed
Well you know...some people are naughty and some are nice....I bet Santa and the Reindeer use this as the guideline for where they poop....and where the leave it behind, it is the new lump of coal! It is sad...the visiting poopers are leaving things behind in my neighborhood too....I don't understand why people don't use the poop bag holder attached to the leash...takes all the thinking out of it...good grief!
ReplyDeleteWe have a little park near us ( 2mins away ) and we can't use it. It's full of POOP, it'z dizguzting OZ.. We are sure Santa has big bags for the reindeer xxooxxx
ReplyDeleteMollie and Alfie
Everyone needs more bags, thanks for the announcement. Your tree and toys look great. Hope Santa stops at your house first.
ReplyDeleteI think all the milk and cookies keep Santa stopped up till he gets home. Then, I'm sure, he has a green smoothie and spends the better part of the next day in the bathroom. Poor fella.

Smart poopbag :-) Here in Denmark we only got the black one, hmmm.... But they do function fine too BoL
ReplyDelete4 gifts in 1 indeed!
ReplyDeleteLOL on the Santa questions. So I dug out my really warm and dressy coat because it is so cold and what did I find in the pocket from last winter? My gloves and a poo bag....lol.
