I Can Hear You Now: EARoma thEARapy Review

Do you do this too?  I hear the command "Come!", I look around cautiously and then I pretend I didn't hear it.  When confronted for ignoring the command, I generally claim that I must not have heard it due too much wax in my ears.

Unfortunately, my excuse no longer works!  Why?  I recently received a new product from Natural Paws called EARoma thEARapy, a sprayable ear wash, and it cleans my ears so well that I can no longer pretend I do not hear.

EARoma thEARapy™ is said to deliver botanical bliss to your dog’s ears.  The unique blend of herbs gently cleanses, soothes, and disinfects the ear canal.  Developed by Natural Paws, EARoma thEARapy fights bacterial, viral, fungal and microbial infections and is veterinarian & groomer recommended.

Ingredients:
Distilled water, herbal infusion (witch hazel, mullein, chamomile, slippery elm bark, elecampane, soapwort, aloe vera), essential oil blend (tea tree, lemongrass, eucalyptus).

Did you say Sprayable?
Yes, you heard correctly (you have clean ears too?).  As we all know, most ear washes get poured into the ear, which can be uncomfortable as well as messy.  I have always been a fan of messy, moving my head about while Ma is pouring so it gets all over her as well as in my ear - you know, to discourage her behavior.

But EARoma thEARapy comes in a spray bottle.  Ma holds it a few inches from my ear canal and sprays about 3-5 pumps of wash into my ear.  Then, she closes the ear flap and gently massages my ear to loosen the dirt, debris and/or wax.  Once done, she wipes my ear gently with a cotton pad.

My ears are then left smelling clean (like a girl dog) as EARoma thEARapy has an aroma of Lemongrass and Eucalyptus.

Recommendation
If you are looking for a weekly ear wash, EARoma thEARapy is gentle and easy to use.  Compared to flooding the ears with wash, I can say that EARoma thEARapy spray gets my ears just as clean using less product.  Ma likes it because it does not get all over her every time she washes my ears.

If you would like to purchase some EARoma thEARapy, you can do so on through the Natural Paws website HERE.  You can use the coupon code, BLOGEARS, to receive a discount on your purchase!

  5. Glad it was good for you Oz but it won't help me with my selective hearing. I have it down to an art form. Have a tremendous Thursday.

  7. Oz my friend...I too hear my name etc. I don't have beans or wax in my ears...you see I'm a cat everything I do must benefit ME or it isn't worth my while. The one sound I respond to is the sound of a Fancy Feast Pop top or the clanking of my Purina One kibble. That is it!!!

  8. Interesting that it is a spray, never heard of that before! I'm sticking with my homemade Blue Ear Wash recipe...infection free for 2 1/2 years now.

  9. I have five Treeing Walker Coonhounds, and if you know hounds, you know that their long ears are prone to wax build-ups and infections. I've used liquid ear cleaners with luck, but they are messy and my dogs don't like the feel of it in their ears. I was given a sample of another cleaner from the vet, but there are still issues. I'm interested in trying this product.

  13. Hey Oz!! That sounds like a pawsome product! I don't know if sprayin' stuffs would be any nicer than the liquid...I kinda like gettin' Ma all wet and yucky everytime she decides MY ears need cleanin'!!! I mean, If I can't get retaliation, what's the fun right?! BOL
Seriously, this does sound like a great product, and Ma says she would like not wearin' my ear stuffs all the time..
I'm sendin' Ma to check it out!

  14. Mom Kim here - hmmm, this just mite be the stuff Shiloh needs; he's been shaking his head and scratching at his ears - rubbing them on the carpet BUT when the vet looked at them, he said all was well. Maybe use this stuff anyway, just in case - it is said Beagles, due to their floppy ears and sniffing so much close to the ground, NEED their ears cleaned VERY OFTEN - sounds like this product would be good to use at least 2 - 3 times a week maybe. Will have to check this out after I get home from work.

  18. Hmmm, this looks interesting Oz! Shiner gets dirty ears pretty often. I wonder if that is why she has similar "hearing problems" like you mention. BOL

  25. That sounds like a great product. I will mention it to hubby since he is the one who does the ear cleaning here. :)

  26. Sounds interesting. Maya has always had good clean ears, but not Pierson. He hates that ear-wash stuff that you have to squirt inside. Maybe this will be better?

  28. We use this product and we're huge fans! Our dogs no longer get that yeasty smell in their ears. The ear infections stopped eons ago, but the yeasty smell would come and go from time to time. Keeping their ears clean was a chore, but this product makes it so much easier.
