A Private Beach

I am happy to join my good friend Ruckus the Eskie for another super Sepia Saturday!  Do you have a great sepia photo to share?  Then grab the badge and link up!

So, here's my Sepia Saturday photo:

This photo was taken during my recent camping trip to Tomoka State Park in Ormond Beach, FL.  Yep, the trip that I wrote about where Daddy-dog dug canals in our campsite so our tent didn't flood, you know because it rained...a LOT.

We found this little beach while hiking through the woods.  The trees cleared and there it was.  It was just the right size for me, Ma and Daddy-dog.  I like how it looks in sepia...like an old postcard someone would send while on vacation in Florida.

What do you think?  Do I look like an antique postcard?  Should I have written "Greetings from Florida" on the photo?

  13. Mom says it looks like a scene from the first episodes of Gilligan's Island and your mom would be Mary Ann. Only problem is there was no dog on the island. I have no clue about that show so I have to trust her on this one!

  15. Great look, and photo too! I think Greetings from Florida would be a fantastic add (in an old-timey scripty font) - it really does look like a postcard from yesteryear.

  16. Yes Oz! That would be way cool. I was thinking that it looked like an old time postcard even before I read the rest of the post. Adding the text would be fun! (sorry it rained so much on your trip :( ) Happy Sepia Saturday! from FireBonnet and her 2catsandacattledog
