OK, so maybe dog treats would not normally be called outdoor
gear, but these new Wellness CORE Superfood Protein Bars are perfect for an
outdoor adventure dog.
Wellness CORE Superfood Protein Bars
The Wellness CORE bars are based on the nutritional
philosophy that dogs thrive on a diet of mostly meat. The CORE bars are nutrient-dense nuggets are
packed with animal protein and wholesome superfoods like blueberries. The bars are filler- and grain-free with no
artificial colors, flavors or preservatives and no GMOs.
I received the Beef & Bison with Blueberries recipe to
try.
Wellness CORE Ingredients:
Beef, Peas, Flaxseed, Natural Flavor, Bison, Cane Molasses,
Salt, Broccoli, Carrots, Blueberries, Mixed Tocopherols, Dried Cultured Skim
Milk and Rosemary Extract.
The Oz Test
We took the Wellness CORE Superfood Protein Bars when we
went on our last camping trip. I made sure
that they were packed in Daddy-dog's backpack while we hiked.
I figured, if Ma and Daddy-dog could munch on protein bars
for energy, so could I. Of course,
protein bars for humans would probably not be a good thing for me to eat so I
was excited to find out that Wellness made protein bars for active dogs.
After a good while hiking, we took a snack break and I tried
the Wellness CORE bars. They were super
yummy...I couldn't eat just one. I don't
know if they gave me a boost of energy or not but we did hike a bit more before
returning to our campsite.
If you are a dog that likes outdoor adventures, you may want
to add the Wellness CORE Superfood Protein Bars to your treat arsenal. They may give you an energy boost and they
will definitely give you a burst of deliciousness.

ReplyDeleteOz you have a million dollar smile!! Oh no these trees did not give us shade...mom said they gave her a headache...when she watch them swaying during tstorms... they are very very tall pines with branches at the top and are not friendly during the NC ice storms.
ReplyDeleteThankfully all over down and mom got some good pictures

What's the fat content? I'm on a very low fat diet. You list the ingredients but not the nutritional analysis.
ReplyDeleteThose sound Fabulous... We think that they carry them at Chewy.com... that would make them EASY and Economical to get... when replacements are needed.
