So, you want to know who won my Limerick Day Contest, do you?
Well, the easiest winner to choose was the Fan Favorite as determined by the number of "Likes" they received within the hop linky. The Fan Favorite was....A Tail of Two Cardis!
Another easy winner to choose was the Booby Prize. I wasn't planning on giving a Booby Prize but when you only write TWO LINES of a five line poem...Booby! That's right, Frankie and Ernie, you win and just wait until you get your prize. BOL
Of course, the BIG winner is always hard to choose. Everyone wrote such great limericks (except Frankie and Ernie) and they all made me laugh. So after thoughtful consideration...and re-reading all the limericks 50 times...the winner is...Ranger Scottie!
Congratulations not just to the winners but to everyone! I will be emailing the winners for their mailing addresses later today.
