When we canoed in Myakka River State Park, there were lots of sounds coming from the water - bird calls as well as bullfrog and alligator calls. I would try to check them all out from the safety of the canoe, of course.

The idea of canoeing with alligators totally freaks me out! But I have had lots of people tell me they think I am crazy for kayaking in waters filled with whales so... Good water watching Oz!
