It's Tasty Tuesday! Thank you to my good friend Sugar the Golden Retriever and Kol's Notes for hosting this delicious hop.
Today I am going to share some tasty treats that I received a few months back from Castor & Pollux - ORGANIX Jerky Chip Cookies.
The new ORGANIX Jerky Chip Cookies are all-natural dog treats that are oven-baked with organic ingredients and protein-packed jerky chips. They are available in four flavors: Oatmeal & Chicken, Oatmeal & Salmon, Oatmeal & Beef and Oatmeal and Lamb. I received all but the Oatmeal & Chicken flavor since I am allergic to chicken.
The ORGANIX Jerky Chip Cookies are one smart cookie. They are made with nutritious, organic whole grains like organic oatmeal, organic barley, organic brown rice and organic oat flour. They also contain organic fruits and veggies like organic peas, organic apples and organic carrots. The ORGANIX Jerky Chip Cookies are made in the USA.
For this taste test, I decided to try the Oatmeal & Lamb flavor.
INGREDIENTS:
Organic Oatmeal, Organic Barley, Organic Brown Rice, Organic Oat Flour, Organic Peas, Lamb, Beef, Organic Cane Molasses, Organic Apples, Organic Carrots, Olive Oil, Organic Caramel Color, Gelatin, Mixed Tocopherols (a preservative).
GUARANTEED ANALYSIS:
Crude Protein (min.) 12.00%
Crude Fat (min.) 10.00%
Crude Fiber (max.) 5.00%
Moisture (max.) 10.00%
As you can see, ORGANIX Jerky Chip Cookies look just like a real cookie. They do not have much of an aroma but they are still drool worthy. The Jerky Chip Cookies are super crunchy and you all know I love crunchy!
For this taste test, I enjoyed two cookies which was a lot since their calorie count is a bit high at 34 K/CAL. It was worth the calorie count though since I really enjoyed them.
Castor & Pollux believes that organic and natural are better. It's about what they put in and what they leave out. They believe that safe, high-quality nutrition leads to healthy, happy pets.
Review Disclaimer: Oz the Terrier received three (3) bags of ORGANIX Jerky Chip Cookies for free from Castor & Pollux in exchange for an honest review. I did not receive any other compensation for this post. All opinions expressed herein are my own and not influenced by any outsider.
