It's been a while since Chewy.com sent me some new treats so
I was so happy when a box was left at my door.
Inside was a package of Dr. Tim's Natural Clean Tripe and I could hardly
wait to try one.
Though I have had green tripe before (unwashed), I have never
had clean tripe. Green tripe is very healthy as it includes the
digestive enzymes and beneficial bacteria of the ruminant animal. Those enzymes and beneficial bacteria will
help a dog with digestion and allow a dog to get the most nutritional value
from all of his/her food. They also
improve metabolism, hormone function and boost the immune system.
Dr. Tim's tripe is white tripe or washed tripe. It is 100% real, USDA inspected beef tripe
straight from Wisconsin that is washed and then freeze dried. According to Dr. Tim, the Natural Clean Tripe
is good for digestion, helps clean teeth and may increase stamina.

Beef Tripe
Guaranteed Analysis:
Crude protein (Min):
72%
Crude fat (Min): 14%
Crude fiber (Max): 2%
Moisture (Max): 10%
Of course, all that healthy hullaboo is what Ma needs to be
concerned about. I, on the other paw, am
just concerned with the taste. They
tasted pretty good! I did try several
pieces just to be sure. As with all
tripe, they are super stinky!
Since the tripe if freeze dried, it can be a little dry so
if you get these treats, you may want to eat them near a bowl of water or soft
them in water for a moment or two.
