Did you know that today, August 23, is Ride the Wind Day?
Ride the Wind Day is a little holiday to celebrate the
ending of Summer. You are suppose to
forget your troubles and worries and let the wind carry you in whatever
direction it is going. I celebrated by
riding in my HoundAbout II Bike Trailer from Solvit Products.
Ma and I have been riding almost every day. I get comfortable in there; I lie down. I love to look through the mesh window and
let the breeze blow through my fur. I
also can catch some interesting scents along the way.
And I am not celebrating alone. No sirree, Bob...I am one of two Scots about
Town in a bike trailer. You see, my very
good friend Ranger the Scottie won my recent HoundAbout II Bike Trailer
giveaway so today he is Riding the Wind too!
Ranger is a lot younger than me so he rides in his bike
trailer a lot differently than I do. I
got a sneak peek at his photos and he is super happy and absolutely adorable in
the bike trailer. You have got to pop
over and see him! Quick...CLICK HERE...I'll wait.

Well, is he not the cutest?!? How are you going to celebrate Ride the Wind
Day today? Where will the wind carry
you?
Wow, we didn't know about this special day. We will have to come up with a way to celebrate!
ReplyDeleteWooHoo….. did I just pass you? Let's Roll Oz!
ReplyDeleteWags,
Ranger
Pees…. Thanks again for my new ride. You and Solvit are da best.
We didn't know that?! Love your new ride, enjoy!!
ReplyDeleteour wind is blowing HOT - 100 degrees today so we are staying inside and letting the wind of the ac blow over us :)
ReplyDeleteWe sure can imagine how much fun that is Oz! It is hard to believe the end of summer is here.
ReplyDeleteOz your too cute, I hope the wind carries Gman to a winning pass this weekend at our hunt test.
ReplyDeleteWell cute Oz and what a way to get the wind in your furs. Have a super Saturday.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes Molly
I'll pass. If we have a storm any worse than Tuesday's, the wind would carry me to Canada, eh.
ReplyDeleteit's great to have a trailer (said my mom). have wonderful rides to speical places you like. maybe you can have a trailer-race with Ranger once?
ReplyDeleteLooks like a great way to spend your Saturday! It's been pouring rain here for the past 24 hours, so I don't think many people in this area will get to enjoy the day. Plus, we're on the road to the east coast! We'll put the windows down and experience it that way ; ) (once we get through the rain)
ReplyDeleteThat looks like a lot of fun, does riding in the car and sticking your head out of the window count? Love Dolly
ReplyDeleteBoth you and Ranger look so cute enjoying the ride in your bike trailers! We didn't know about Ride the Wind day....we'd better get everyone loaded up in my convertible and head out!! Unfortunately, it looks like it might rain. :(

You look wonderful riding the wind. I love your houndabout. I did get to see Ranger and he looks great in his too. It looks very comfy and Ranger even had his head sticking out to look around. I am glad you have such a nice way to get around with your Mom.
