I bet many of you think that my weekend stays at my new Summer Home (a.k.a. Aunt Mary Lou's house) is all...lounging by the pool and napping in the hammock with Daddy-dog.
But you would be wrong! Just as Ma and Daddy-dog have assignments while at my Summer Home, so do I. Aunt Mary Lou gave me specific tasks to take care of while I am there, like...
1) wrestling alligators and keeping them out of the pool;
2) patrolling the sea wall and dock for splashing fish and floating coconuts; and
3) chasing the squirrels, cats and iguanas out of the yard.
Those assignments are hard work and can take a lot of energy out of a working terrier like myself. So yes, while I may nap in the hammock with Daddy-dog now and again...and again...and again, I also need to eat lots of treats to keep my energy up.
So, I have been refueling with some new treats made by my friends at Zuke's - Genuine Jerky Treats.
These treats are REAL beef jerky just like Daddy-dog eats! They are made from New Zealand beef making Genuine Jerky a high protein, healthy and absolutely mouthwatering treat. As the package of Genuine Jerky says "87% New Zealand Beef, 13% Good Stuff, 100% Yummy!" They do not contain any nitrites or nitrates.
As you can see, Genuine Jerky comes in three flavors: Original Beef, Barbecue Beef and Teriyaki Beef.
Zuke's Genuine Jerky Ingredients (from the Barbecue Beef flavor):
Beef, Brown Sugar, Salt, Onion Powder, Garlic Powder, Natural Flavors, Apple Cider Vinegar, Paprika, Celery Powder and Mixed Tocopherols
Guaranteed Analysis
Crude Protein....35% min
Crude Fat...........4% min
Crude Fiber........2% max
Moisture...........30% max

I have had plenty of opportunity in between tasks to snack on all three flavors and honestly, I cannot get enough Genuine Jerky. I would eat the whole bag if Ma would just let me.
If you are looking for a real jerky treat that is super yummy and healthy for you then I highly recommend you get yourself some Zuke's Genuine Jerky.
Are you going to try some Zuke's Genuine Jerky?
If you do, let me know how much you like it!
A big thank you to Zuke's for fueling my Summer Home Adventures.
