Unfortunately, I don't think I am getting enough rest. Every time I try to take a nap, there is all this "flap" from the living room. We are watching Grandma's bird...Ozzie...and she just cannot shut her trap.
You can hear some of her flap in this short video: she gives raspberries, whistles and coos to herself and asks if she is a good girl (which she usually is not). The only thing missing on this video is her screaming...and I mean SCREAMING...for "cookie, cookie, cookie". (You can also hear kissing sounds in the background...that is Corky, my Blue-Fronted Amazon parrot brother who is completely riled up by Ozzie.)
She is here until Monday...there goes my peaceful weekend. Happy Friday!
Oh! If you haven't yet participated in the Natural Balance Whole Body Health Survey, would you visit my post HERE and take this 5 question survey? It is super quick and it is right here on my blog. Thanks!
Oh no! I sure hope your paw feels better soon.

ReplyDeleteI hope your paw heals up soon Oz and you can run and jump like a Terrier! I totally love Ozzie! My mom is a fan of parrots, she always drives to the expensive gas station because they have a parrot there (and this parrot HATES! my mom, she screams like crazy when my mom walks in and then she jumps in the furthest edge of her cage till my mom is out) The owner said that this parrot dislikes all women, therefore she has to live in his office, because the parrot always attacked his wife...for no reason, she never did something to the parrot-girl.
ReplyDeleteYour poor paw Oz.
ReplyDeleteOh I've seen those moves before Oz lol... they look kind of like the "sexy" moves that birds do haha. Especially that up and down dancing. And then they shake their heads and spit up on you.. birds are so weird sometimes! But Ozzie sure is a cutie!
