Auntie ML sent me an email saying "You are everywhere here! Even the berries are named Oz berries!".
She is also dog-sitting while she is there and she is having a blast! I made sure that she still thinks of me as her Numero Uno doggie though. Auntie ML cannot figure out how we all get great photos while there is food about. Try as she might, her photos are fuzzy because "it is a feeding frenzy" there. BOL The dogs are cute though!
I find it interesting that they get a raw egg with their meal.
Does anyone else ever get a raw egg in the shell?
I have had raw egg over my food before but never just ate up the shell too.
Oz berries LOL. Does that mean they are all yours? No raw eggs here but I do like scrambled ones. Have a tremendous Thursday.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes Molly
Well of coarse they would name things after you in the land of Oz. Have never heard of giving a dog a raw egg in the shell....mom uses egg shells to clean the garbage disposal though...maybe they clean out the doggie bawwwaahhhh
ReplyDeleteHow great that they named the berries after you, you are famous Oz woohoo! we read it often and we heard that eggs (or the egg yolk) are good for the fur and the skin. We gave it a try, of course... sadly the Weimaraner refused to eat the egg yolk, not even with cream cheese or treats... no way :o)
ReplyDeleteI'm willing to try anything edible.
ReplyDeleteI've heard that eggshell has some good nutrients in it, but I haven't heard of doggies just eating the whole shell!
ReplyDeleteI've heard of people giving their dogs a raw egg before. Apparently it's quite amusing to watch dogs try and figure it out for the first time. The fluffies have gotten scrambled eggs before, but that's it!
ReplyDeleteWhen I give my dogs a raw egg, the resulting gas is just not worth it ;-) Cooked eggs work out much better. That being said, eggshells are a great source of calcium so it's a good addition to the diet.
ReplyDeleteWe have never had a raw egg...in out out of the shell, but we are willing to try!!
ReplyDeleteSmileys!

Interesting - raw eggs. Mom has been giving Hazel (and Bailey) Fidoplex from Wondercide. It is made from the egg membrane. Hazel is much spunkier.

Shell and all? Never heard of it but house swapping we have and mom would love to try that! Love Dolly
ReplyDeleteWe have cooked eggs with our meals, and occasionally a tiny shell piece falls in, but never a raw egg in a shell. Strange!
ReplyDeleteYou are even more famous now Oz!
ReplyDeleteReally? The whole entire egg?
ReplyDeleteDefinitely never had that before! Interesting!

Heard the raw eggs with shells are great for health, but we haven't had any! Mom's too nervous BOL
ReplyDeleteWe never heard of the raw egg before. Might that be a bit messy?

Oz berries are really cool! Veruca and Ava have hard-boiled eggs all the time, we haven't tried raw eggs in the shell. But it makes sense, lots of animals eat raw eggs in the shell.
ReplyDeleteMOL! Oz berries are so cool!
ReplyDeleteEggs? I didn't know that animals could eat eggs! I wonder if it is safe for cats. I will have to look that up.

Never done the raw egg thing. Feeding frenzy and a case of the blurs, I know that feeling. Looks like a cute Australian Cattle Dog, though not as cute as you Oz. Blueberries are so good; good thing to have named after you :)
ReplyDeleteHi Oz - thanks for including us in your blog! Macey the beagle and Espy

Cute doggies. I have heard of people feeding whole raw eggs. We don't, but I know people who do.
