Run and Hide and...

It's fun to play Hide and Seek but sometimes I need to play Run and Hide!  When I play Run and Hide, I usually hide near Daddy-dog, my "protector".

Run and Hide is usually played before the dreaded B-A-T-H.  I had to play yesterday morning since Ma insisted I have a B-A-T-H before we headed up to Auntie's house in Central Florida.  She said I couldn't go to Auntie's all stinky?!?

What do you do when it is time for a bath?
Do you love it or do you Run and Hide too?

Happy Black and White Sunday!  Thank you Sugar and Nola for hosting the hop!

  3. Oh poor Oz... the water torture...I would run and hide too.... Fortunately I have thin fur and it mostly needs wet baby wipes to remove the smell.

  7. we are BOTH run and hide boys here and also the flat and splat types - when Mom corners us - we do a flat splat to the ground and refuse to move - she says it is like trying to pick up dead weight :)

  14. Wow Oz! I would be pretty insulted if someone told me I was stinky! Part of the problem is that you are small and probably easy to catch! I don't have to run and hide cause I have my baths at the groomer! Barks and licks and love, Dakota

  20. I would if I could, but Mom runs the bath without letting us know and then all of the sudden she picks one of us up and we are transported to the bathroom, door gets closed and we get set in the tub. Dreadful!

  21. It's even funnier when my 70-pound mutt tries to hide behind me. Doesn't quite work. ;-)

  22. I have learned that running and hiding is futile, but that doesn't stop me from gently trying to climb out of the tub once or twice during the process, BOL! Hang in there, Oz! *wags* - Gilligan from WagsAhoy.com

  25. HAHA! It's funny you brought this up because as you know I have 3 huskies. My bathroom is up quite a long flight of stairs, and I have to carry each of them up the stairs when it's bath time!!!! And as you can imagine with huskies, it is not an easy task! The worst part is, my boy Koda pees when it's his turn. Our stairs are carpeted, so he would pee all the way up. SO I now have to wrap a towel around his waste covering his (you know) and carry him that way!!!

  26. Stanley jumps in the tub when dad tells him too. My legs aren't quite as long but I don't mind since I know we will play fetch as soon as I get out of the tub.
