Did you know that January is National Soup Month? What a yummy "holiday"! While your pet parents are shaking off the cold weather with some warm food and beverages are you wishing you could do the same? If so, then keep reading.
You may remember my Winter Warmers post from November. If not, here is a recap:
Winter Warmers are a delicious beverage treat that is perfect for warming you up after a romp in the snow or on a chilly morning or evening. They are made from a mixture of human grade, dehydrated ingredients. The Broths do not contain any corn, wheat, soy or GMO ingedients.
Unfortunately, the Winter Warmers were a limited-supply product and now they are completely out of stock. But don't think me a rude pup for bringing up a product that you can no longer buy because...I still have one unopened canister of Winter Warmers Beef & Bone Broth that I am just not going to use.
Now, I am not saying that I do not like the Broth because I love it! But honestly, what is a Florida dog to do with so much soup? My humans don't even eat much soup because it is always so warm here.
It occurred to me, if I am not going to use the soup, why let it go to waste? Surely some of you, my dear friends, are freezing your paws off and would be thankful for a warm beverage to help you shake off the cold.
The ingredients of the Winter Warmers Beef & Bone Broth are: dehydrated beef, pumpkin, shiitake mushroom & chard. This is the flavor I eat and it doesn't have any hidden chicken or poultry - it does not make me itch at all.
So, if you are freezing your paws off and thus would like to get those cold paws on some Beef & Bone Broth, enter the Rafflecopter to win my last unopened canister! Giveaway open to ALL Oz the Terrier readers; Giveaway ends on Friday, January 23, 2015.
My Mum takes soupies to work for lunch everyday. I myself, have been know to snaffle some potato soup when no ones looking!

ReplyDeleteHow very nice of you Qz. Lucky doggie that wins!
ReplyDeleteSoups are great and they can help your tummy when there is a angry cat inside what growls and tortures you with spiky claws... I sadly had no soup last night, just camomille tea (phew!) but I bet a soup would help much better!

Sounds really yummy, but Mom says my ears would end up in my soup and cause quite a mess. Grrr...sometimes long ears can be a real problem.

Today the temperature is hovering just above freezing.....but with the wind chill. It's Cold out there.... My dogs hurry out to potty and want in after just a couple minutes. I'd like to win this as my dogs LOVE HK food and treats and I think they would enjoy it. I make a homemade veggie tomato soup with chicken ....everything in it is safe for the dogs to eat, and when I make this soup for myself they sit by the stove and practically drool for it. Their little noses are all up sniffing the air when it's close to done and I give them all a ladle full in their bowls which they really enjoy. So, I am almost certain they would enjoy this. Most of my dogs are Shelties and despite the fact that they are fluffy long haired dogs, they love warm stuff and snuggling in the blankets, even stealing my hubby's heating pad and laying on it..... When I make their HK I even warm it a little as they love it a little warm. Thanks for the chance to win for my babies to try.
ReplyDeleteIt is FIVE degrees out right this very minute. It has been SO frigid here lately...unbelievably cold. The girls paws freeze to the ground unless they are wearing PAWZ boots!! Definitely a good Soup Day! xo Chloe and LadyBug
ReplyDeleteWell, right now at 8:30 am it's 8 below zero here - does that qualify us for needing something warm? LOL
