I was about to head out to the florist but a call came in that there was a pothole right in the middle of the road that everyone will take to the dance! Oh dawg...I needed to get my gear and get out to repair that pothole before the Mayorz found out.
After about 87 minutes of covering up that pothole with some dirt from the side of the road, I made a mad dash to the florist. I was nervously running about and thus knocked some of the pretty flowers onto the floor but no matter...I got the bouquet I ordered for Phoebe. I sure hope she likes it.
Then it was back home where Ma said I needed to decide what I was going to wear. It's not like I have a lot of outfits to choose from since Daddy-dog doesn't like dogs wearing clothes.
(OK...Ma says she did not realize how much stuff I actually have until she laid everything out for me...and a couple things are missing from this photo. *rolls eyes* Please do not tell Daddy-dog I have all these clothes!)
I conferred with Ma and she agreed that Phoebe probably doesn't want me dressed as a Zombie Hunter, in team gear nor as a tattooed tough guy (that shirt is pretty cool though). We thought simple black would work and of course I wanted a dash of color...do you think the orange bowtie makes this outfit too "Halloween-ish"?
I thought I was all set to go...I was dressed and still had a little time to spare before I had to go pick up Phoebe and then I heard it! And OH, it was a loud SCREECHING, SCREAMING sound and it was coming from Ma! "NO, NO, NO, NO AND NO...you are not wearing THAT!"
What's wrong with it? Ma says it is NOT appropriate.
It's back to the closet to find another outfit. I sure hope I am not late picking up Phoebe. Hold tight, Phoebe...I'm coming!!!!
What do you think I will end up wearing to the Heart 2 Heart Dance? I guess you will have to wait and see when I get there!

Oz, you always look great! I would wear just the bow tie... remember what marilyn once said: wear a waft of chanel n°5, nothing else :o) I go nekked too, just with a bow tie... there are so much great foodables at the pawty that I need no shirt-treats or socks today :o)
