I started celebrating Pet Dental Health Month by heading out on a shopping adventure to PetSmart to buy more of my favorite dental treats.
Tomorrow, as Dr. Oz the Terrier, I will be discussing why dog dental health is so important. Be sure to drop by my office...walk-ins welcome!
How will you celebrate Pet Dental Health Month?
Do you have a favorite dental treat?

We got to look after those nashers Oz. Have a wonderful Wednesday.

It is kind of funny in a way - dogs have lived for thousands of years without having their teeth brushed and all of sudden it becomes the most 'important' thing for your dog - we think humans are just too fussy and don't like dog breath and are trying to force their overly active sense of fresh and clean on us. Can't remember the last time we saw wolves running around with tooth brushes :) :)
ReplyDeletePip never used to let us brush his teeth, but Ruby cooperates quite nicely.
ReplyDeleteThey look like very good treats and where sure your teeth will be sparkling after munching on them. Milo & Jet

ReplyDeleteI wish the Lady would put me in the cart for a change! I mostly use Nylabones, most dental treats have ingredients in them that she doesn't want me to have because of food allergies. Love Dolly

I think we'll celebrate by brushing his teeth more often! Usually, it's 4-5 times/week.
ReplyDeleteOur pups start drooling as soon as their toothbrush & paste come out ;-) Way to go for coming along on the shopping trip!
ReplyDeleteI took Ali in to the pet store once, thinking it would be the smells of treats and food that would drive her nuts. It was the toy aisle, with all the balls. Overloaded her senses lol
