You may have noticed that I have not been around for a couple of weeks. That was because Ma was volunteering with our local Habitat for Humanity affiliate as a construction leader during the annual Collegiate Challenge build. She volunteered for two weeks straight to teach college students who chose to volunteer with Habitat over their Spring Break how to roof a house.
She was up and out very early...way before the sun rose each morning. She caught this sunrise photo while on the construction site last week. You can see the two houses surrounded by scaffolding. She says the sunrise colors were much prettier in person.
Then, if all that volunteering wasn't enough...Ma ran her first 5K this Sunday in support of a local rescue, the Justin Bartlett Animal Rescue. She was up and out before sunrise again and caught this photo at the park which is along the Intracoastal Waterway.
I'm sorry I haven't been around much but I am back to my normal schedule now! I hope you all have a wonderful BlogPaws Wordless Wednesday!
Way cool and good on mum. Have a wonderful Wednesday.
