April is Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Month.
The ASPCA is once again urging supporters to "Go Orange for Animals" to help raise awareness. With orange being my signature color, this was any easily supported campaign for me!
The ASPCA has some great ideas for how you can help spread the word about preventing cruelty to animals. Ideas like:
- Creating a fundraising campaign or event;
- Supporting your local animal shelter through financial donations, gift-in-kind (wish list goods) donations and volunteerism; and
- Showing your virtual support by using the hashtag #fightcruelty in tweets, facebook posts, etc.
I would like us all to do something FUN with the color orange to show our support! I've already had fun with my logo and I am sure I can come up with some other FUN ideas to Go Orange as well.

ReplyDeleteYou look good in orange Oz and I am happy to see you helping other animals less fortunate than you. I like to donate all of our surplus blankets and goodies to the rescue I adopted Gretel from. I have also organized several events in our area that have brought in donations for them.

This is a great thing to do. Mommy has pledged to donate monthly to a local shelter and we donated some foodables. There is never enough we can do to help our pals that don't have it as good as we do. I will make an orange post and show it to you soon.
