Thank you Bravo Pet Foods for providing me with so many special moments!
As many of you know, Bravo Pet Foods has been my Food Sponsor for the past three months. Miss Bette and the kind people at Bravo have provided me with all my food including their new HomeStyle Complete Freeze-Dried Dinners for Dogs and many different kinds of treats. What they may not realize is that they provided me with lots of Special Moments during their sponsorship as well.
Bravo for Oz's Special Moments
First, Ma and Little Oz got to meet Miss Bette in person at Global Pet Expo. Then, I got to interview Miss Bette for my blog, asking her all kinds of questions about being a pet guardian as well as the founder and owner of a great pet food brand. That was pawesome!
Next, I got to have lots of fun sharing photos of me trying the different Bravo Pet Foods products on social media. I think I gave everyone a good chuckle when they saw the photo of my beard covered in Homestyle Complete! You know I was just saving the extra morsels for later as any good dog would do.
Then, Bravo sent me some delicious Crunchy Delights dog treats to try. These treats were Delightfully Crunchy and I even got to give away some bags of treats to several friends. I hope you all liked them.
And finally, I got to tell you all about freeze-dried food and treats. I know many of you don't "eat raw" but I then I discussed if you eat freeze-dried treats, you are eating "raw" treats. Remember, freeze drying is a process that removes 95% of the moisture from food while it is in its raw frozen state. The process helps to preserve not only the structure and composition of the food but the nutrients as well.
Freeze-dried meat retains most of the digestive enzymes and amino acids a dog needs to be healthy. Even though Miss Bette said in her interview "feeding an all-raw diet would be best..." she also said she "...would love for everyone to add some element of raw to their pet’s diet. There are a lot of options and they all support the same nutritional and health benefits."
And what are some of the benefits provided by freeze-dried food?
1) Improving digestion
2) Strengthening the immune system
3) Increasing activity level
4) Helping to lose fat while gaining leaner body mass
How can you add "some element of raw" into your pet's diet?
Well, you can give them delicious and healthy Homestyle Complete as either a special small meal, a food topper or even as treats. Just like freeze-dried treats that you may already give your dog, you don't have to rehydrate the Homestyle Complete if you use it as a food topper or especially if you want to dole it out as a treat.
You can also give Bravo's Training Treats. They are freeze-dried, 100% muscle meat, poultry protein, cheese and organs. They’re designed for maximum aroma, texture and flavor appeal, and sized right for regular training or daily treating...and they are grain-free.
Bravo for Special Moments
As my food sponsorship comes to an end, Bravo Pet Foods is giving Oz the Terrier readers one last chance to win some of their delicious Homestyle Complete and Training Treats so you can create your very own Special Moments!

We always need more training treats!
ReplyDeleteIt is so easy to serve Bravo! and both of my boys LOVE it. I am feeding raw meals almost daily. I've learned a lot from your posts. All of Oz's photos make me smile. Love the hop!
ReplyDeletethose are some excellent treats and what a great company
ReplyDeleteWe are doing baby steps here, and are now grain free, raw infused and we also use a lot of freeze dried treats. We love them and Mom loves that they are healthy!
ReplyDeleteMy rescued Treeing Walker Coonhounds didn't have the best start in life. I love to treat them with special, healthy treats. I'm working on some things with them, like not pulling on the leash on walks and not barking too much, so these would be great for rewards. I'm hoping to adopt another Walker hound soon (I lost my sweet, deaf hound girl, Ran, back in April from an autoimmune disorder) and I'll be needing to work with her on basic commands and training, too.
ReplyDeleteI didn't think of giving the Homestyle Complete meals as treats or adding them to kibble dry. Shiner does like the meal by itself though... those things smell soooo good!
ReplyDeleteI lie that they are grain-free and the sound delicious!
ReplyDeleteWith 4 big dogs in the house, we never have enough training treats. Heard good things about Bravo.
ReplyDeleteI'd love to try Bravo's freeze-dried food and treats because of the benefits for my dogs like strengthening their immune system. I also like that they are grain-free! :)
ReplyDeleteBravo sounds like a wonderful company. We would love to try some treats. We have also really enjoyed all the "special moments" we have read about all over the blogs.

ReplyDeleteI'm becoming more and more picky about what treats I give my boys. I've had good luck with this brand- I would love to try these!
ReplyDeleteMy Oreo loves liver freeze dried treats and would be interested in trying your brand
ReplyDeleteI've never heard of this before so I would love to have my pup try it
ReplyDeleteLinda
You do look like you enjoyed the food really much. I don't feed freeze dried food but do feed freeze dried treats and my gang just loves freeze dried stuff. So close to the real thing!
ReplyDeleteOz, you are just so adorable! You make freeze dried food sound yummy! Us kitties are trying to like it because our mommy wants us too but you know how we are - we only like what we want to like. It's called kitty prerogative!
ReplyDeleteWe are very interested in raw food, but just not ready to take the plunge yet. But we have tried some freeze dried treats and the dogs love them.
ReplyDeleteWe saw about your photo contest on some other blogs but were just too busy to try to enter this time. We loved the idea of the special moments though.

Ya know, I fed bravo for years, blogged about it too. told people how I fed Bravo to my seven cats.. not once could I get a sponsorship out of them, so while it is nice to see them doing it and nice to get the word out about raw...
ReplyDeletewell sour grapes only make sour wine, so I'll just be happy for you.
This is one of the most special things...just after dogs in general, of course.
