The surprise is something that is engineered for adventure. Something I must explore inside and out. Something that I will use this weekend while I visit Islamorada in the Florida Keys. Can you guess what it is?

ReplyDeleteAre you getting a ... car seat so you can see better out the window???? Mom and Dad took the weenie dogs who were here before me to Islamorada 15 years ago and they all loved it! Such a fun place for peeps and dogs alike! Wish we could go.

Mum told me that back in the mid-70's she, her ex, my hu-brother Marc (who was a little nipper then), his cousin Belinda all went down to the Keys. On the way, the stopped at some friends in Miami who had lived near them in Cleveland and it was a horror nightmare!!!! They were supposed to stay with the friends after the trip to the Keys but as they were getting ready to leave for the Keys the friends made up some excuse why they couldn't stay there on the way back (now, mind you, this had been planned some six months in advance!!). So, when they got to Key West they had to find other lodgings for the extra time!! That trip to the keys was another nightmare which maybe I will get her to describe at a later date). Anyway, they got back to Miami for the cruise which was over New Year's. Mum and my hucousin Belinda both got sick on the cruise (mum worse than Belinda) along with a LOT of other passengers -- Mum was driving and she says it was a nightmare of a drive back to Cleveland. Anyway, mum was refunded her cost for the cruise -- it was a problem on the ship and Belinda got a small refund!!!!! Mum says the whole trip was a nightmare and at times she felt like chauffer -- more about that another time.
