My good friend Sugar the Golden Retriever and I are saying:
Woofs for Terrierific Dog Treats
that you can buy at your local PetSmart this Holiday Season.
Sugar and I agree that these five brands make some delicious dog treats as we have sampled them all. Hopefully, one or all of our choices will end up on your list and in your stocking on Christmas day.
1. Zuke’s – makes so many great treats. See my posts for some of my personal favorites like Genuine Jerky, Skinny Bakes and Supers but don’t forget Zuke’s offers Mini Naturals, Z-Filets and Z-Bones dental treats, too.
2. Whimzees – my favorite dental treats. I recently posted how Whimzees are all-natural and come in fun shapes like toothbrushes, hedgehogs and alligators.
3. Natural Balance – the Wild Pursuit line of treats, Venison Lung Bites and Lamb Lung Bites, are dehydrated high-protein, grain-free treats that are only 8 calories a piece. Their L.I.T. (Limited Ingredient) treats are great for dogs who have food sensitivities and allergies.
4. Fruitables – come in Chewy, Crunchy and Jerky and are made from limited ingredients. I enjoy Fruitables Vanilla Snowflake Treats which they make each Winter and are perfect for a holiday gift!
5. Dog for Dog – I just tried these treats, specifically the DogsTreat with Duck Minis, on the suggestion of Sugar. They are soft treats made with no corn, wheat, or artificial preservatives and are a great size for training.

OOH! These all look awesome...and we have tasted most of them...but our favorite is Whimzees!
