We always stop at the official Welcome Center when we are on a road trip because Daddy-dog enjoys the free cup of Florida orange juice.
Florida Orange Juice Fun Facts:
- Florida is second only to Brazil in global orange juice production.
- Florida produces 70% of the United States supply of citrus fruits including several varieties of oranges and grapefruits.
- You can buy a sack of Indian River oranges at the Welcome Center (and several other rest stops) and squeeze your own fresh orange juice. No need to add sugar or sweeteners because Florida oranges are naturally sweet enough for juice.
I am joining good friends Sugar the Golden Retriever and Dachshund Nola for Black and White Sunday.
