Hold On to the Old, Look Forward to the New

That’s right, I do not believe in “out with the old and in with the new” at this time of year and why would I?  I am getting old and so many old things are the best things like long-time friends and great memories of past adventures.

Oz the Terrier holds on to the old of 2015 while looking forward to the new of 2016

2015 was chock-full of great experiences, big opportunities, meeting new friends and meeting old friends in person!  I am grateful for all of it and for each of you, because without you my 2015 would not have been the terrierific year it was.

As I hold on to the old, I found my Top 5 posts of 2015, as selected by you through your views, comments and social shares.  These posts represent everything I try to share with you throughout the year from Dr. Oz the Terrier’s Dog Health & Wellness, Dog-Friendly Camping & Adventure, Raw Diets and even Car Rides & Travel Safety.  They are:

I’m not sure whether it is the actual car (it was our favorite of all the cars we reviewed in 2015) or the fun adventure to the Florida Keys that made this post our number 1 most viewed post of the year.

This post was just another opportunity for Dr. Oz the Terrier to talk about his favorite dental treats – Whimzees.  I know many of you like Whimzees as well.

I was so happy to find Raw Paws Pet Food with their unique proteins and door-to-door delivery.  Even if you do not feed a raw diet to your dog, Raw Paws makes some delicious and health treats that every dog can enjoy.

Heading out on an adventure is always fun, just be sure you prepare your dog as well as yourself.

If you didn’t know that the campground at Everglades National Park was both beautiful and dog-friendly, you do now.  This was one of my favorite camping trips and a great opportunity to educate others about the importance of conserving this Park.

As we head into 2016, I am looking forward to new opportunities and experiences to share with you and the new friends I find along the way.  I cannot wait to see what 2016 has in store for us all.

May we live in a World at peace and may we cherish every sunset, every smile, every hug and every life in the year to come.  I wish you all a healthy and happy New Year.
