To me, this quote by Walter Winchell Beautifully describes our friendships here in Blogville. Whenever one of us is hurting or sick, and the rest of the world doesn’t seem to understand how we feel about our pets, we all pull together to make things happen, to send Power of the Paw, to comfort one another and to grieve a loss collectively.
As you may know, our good friend Sugar the Golden Retriever has another mass that needs to be removed. It is on her spleen and must be taken care of right away. Her mom and dad, after having visited the vet and discussed all the possibilities, have decided to elect for surgery for Sugar with a well-respected veterinarian specialist. Sugar’s surgery is scheduled for next Friday, January 15.
I thought we could all pull together next Friday to send Power of the Paw to Sugar as well as our thoughts and prayers to her mom and dad while they wait during her surgery. I thought it would be Beautiful if we could all write a post “When I See Sugar Smile…” to tell her family how much Sugar’s smile means to each of us.
