Today, our good friend Sugar the Golden Retriever is having surgery on a mass on her spleen. According to the vet, Sugar will be in recovery at the hospital for 1-2 days.
Sugar’s blog was one of the first blogs I started reading. When Ma and I met Sugar and her mom at BarkWorld some years ago, we were star struck and I, as the Terrier that I am, was a barking fool. But Sugar and her mom were super sweet to us and after only a few short days, we became the greatest of friends.
Sugar: I am sending my most healing and loving thoughts and prayers to you and your family for your surgery and recovery to go well. I know When I See Sugar Smile, I cannot help but smile too. Sugar’s happiness is infectious and even on a down or sad day her smile always lifts my spirits and melts my heart. You could say I swoon for Sugar and her smile!

ReplyDeleteWe love Sugar too, I really miss her since she moved out west, we would get together once in awhile and always had a great time. Just be sure and stay out of her way when there is a treat, don't let that smile fool you! We are saying paw prayers with all four paws today for Sugar. Love Dolly

All of our thoughts and prayers are with Sugar and her family today. This hop was such a sweet idea to support them. I'm sorry I didn't get a post up for it....I've been so behind on everything and only heard about it yesterday, so just didn't have time to put anything together.
