Touted as “The Family Adventure of a Lifetime”, the movie Against the Wild 2: Survive The Serengeti starring Jeri Ryan, Ella Ballentine, John Paul Ruttan and Ashley Dowds will be released on DVD on May 10, 2016 from Anchor Bay Entertainment.
A heartwarming adventure perfect for families, Against the Wild 2: Survive The Serengeti is the story of two bickering siblings who head out for a visit with their dad who is temporarily working in Africa. But when their small plane crash-lands in the Serengeti, they have only each other and their fellow passenger Chinook, a Malamute, to rely on.
While their mom is panicked and rescue teams search high and low, the brother, sister and courageous dog learn to conquer their fears and trust each other in some of the most beautiful, but untamed, wilderness. They even make friends with some amazing animals along the way.
We received a pre-release copy for viewing and review. If you are an adventure lover, a dog lover and/or an animal lover, this movie is for you! It is rated PG and while there are some exciting moments, it is definitely a family-friendly movie – nothing too scary at all. We fell in love with Chinook and we bet you will too!
Against the Wild 2: Survive The Serengeti DVD also includes special features like interviews with some of the cast – Jeri Ryan, Ella Ballentine and John Paul Ruttan – as well as some fun outtakes from the filming of the movie.
