Dog at the Door

Ma and I were bored yesterday since Daddy-dog went out all day without us and left us home, So we decided to go visit my Uncle Rob for a few hours in the afternoon because he was bored too. I love Uncle Rob's front door because he has a screen door (unlike our house) where I can stand guard and bark at people walking by.

Oz is a dog at the door, guarding the entrance

It was the first time I have been to Uncle Rob's house since both my cat cousins Wren and Tootsie went to the Bridge. I was so excited to get there since I did not remember they were gone, so I ran in and started looking all over for them. I cried and cried to Ma and Uncle Rob to help me find them. Ma says it was a bit sad but she explained that they were in a better place and so I settled into my spot by the door.

Thank you to Sugar and Nola for hosting Black and White Sunday.

  1. Oh, that's so sad that your cat cousins are gone, Oz. We're glad you still found something fun to entertain yourself with there....watching the world go by out a door with some fresh air is the best!

Sounds like Uncle Rob needs some new kitties! I think you can help him pick out a couple of new ones to honor Wren and Tootsie.

  8. Oh Oz what a sweet woofie you are that you looked for those kitties, not knowing they were gone. Your little heart must have been broken. That photo is just precious. Dakota would LOVE a screened door where he could bark at everyone, but we sure wouldn't like it! BOL! xoxo DakotasDen

  13. Too bad your kitty pals were not there any more, Ozzie. We have a screen in our front door. Phantom loved to sit in front of it, but Mom says we two are more likely to bolt through the screen at the sight of a bunny:)

  15. It is sad when friends or family are no longer where they should be, but luckily the door kept you busy.

  16. That's so sad not finding your cousins! I am banned (with a puppy gate) from getting downstairs to our front door to bark at the mailman and all the people that come and go from grandma's. Not fair. Love Dolly
