"There's always GRRRREAT STUFF happening at Habitat for Humanity!"

That, my friends, is my opening line in an essay and photo contest that I am participating in on Facebook. The contest is hosted by Dow Chemicals and was open for entries last week for every Habitat for Humanity affiliate in the U.S. My affiliate, Habitat for Humanity of Broward, entered my photo into the contest hoping my cuteness would help them win!

Dow Chemical is a big sponsor of Habitat for Humanity throughout the United States. They donate several of their products, like GREAT STUFF™ Window & Door and GREAT STUFF™ Gaps & Cracks, to every affiliate in the country. Ma and Daddy-dog use it, along with all the other Habitat Broward volunteers, to keep the homes they build airtight so the Florida heat and humidity can’t get in and wreak havoc on the house.

Now, Dow Chemical has created this essay and photo contest where affiliates have the chance to win either a $7,500, $5,000, $3,000 or $2,000 grant to help build more safe and healthy homes for families in need. It is so exciting!
