Lucy Pet Foundation Gnarly Crank’n K-9 Wave Maker is Auditioning NYC Dogs for the 2017 Rose Parade Float
On Sunday, September 18 the surf will be up in New York City when Lucy Pet Foundation’s Gnarly Crank’n K-9 Wave Maker rides into town to audition the most talented of the area’s surfing dogs for a spot on their 2017 Rose Parade float. It has already had successful appearances at Universal Studios Hollywood, America’s Family Pet Expo and Bark at the Park with the Oakland Athletics and Houston Astros.
Joey Herrick, founder of the Lucy Pet Foundation and Lucy Pet Products says, “pet parents around the country are excited to get a chance to test their dogs surfing skills for a spot on the 2017 Rose Parade float.”
All New York City area pet parents are encouraged to bring their dogs to one of the following auditions:

Sunday, September 18 at Union Square Park from 12:00 noon to 5:00 pm at the Mayor’s Alliance for NYC’s Animals “Adoptapalooza” or
Purchase a special Bark at the Park ticket for the New York Mets game on Wednesday, September 21 and on your way to Citi Field your dog can audition from 3:30 pm to 6:30 pm.
Added Herrick ”We encourage everyone to come out and showcase those pooches with surfing talents. Who knows, they could be surfing on our Guinness Record setting float in the Rose Parade in Pasadena come January 2, 2017.”
