I often wonder if Oz realizes he is an “old dog”. He still
loves to run, hike and play though he doesn’t go as far or as hard as he did
when he was younger. I can see his years in his gray beard, his cloudy eyes,
his slower pace on a walk or hike and they all make me smile for the years we
have had together. I also see that Oz needs to rest more and when he does, he
seeks out a comfy spot that is both soft and supportive to his body.
Now that Oz is acting more and more like a senior dog, I am
always looking for a dog bed that will provide him with the comforts he
deserves. And I may have found it with the new TrustyPup line of dog beds.
Oz the Terrier was provided a TrustyPup Remedy Rest Memory
Foam Pet Bed for free but we only share information that is relevant to our
readers. TrustyPup is not responsible for the content of this article.
TrustyPup pet beds offer superior comfort regardless of your
dog's size, age or sleep style. Their color-coded CompleteNeeds™ System of
Functional, Sprawl, Cuddle and Rejuvenate helps you identify the ideal bed for
your dog.
The TrustyPup Remedy Rest Memory Foam Bed is in the
Rejuvenate category of pet beds. Rejuvenate beds include memory foam, gel foam
or convoluted foam to provide therapeutic benefits to your dog by evenly
distributing weight to help recuperate tired, aching muscles and help relieve
joint pain.
TrustyPup’s Remedy Rest bed has MemoryMix memory foam
cushion fill that conforms to your dog’s body to ease painful pressure points. A
bonus: the shredded memory foam fill is composed of leftover remnants from
standard foam production to help to keep waste out of landfills.
Oz has been known to be picky about new beds so I had my
paws crossed that he would like it and use it. He liked it immediately and I
believe the reasoning is two-fold: 1) the cushioned bed is very supportive and
2) the outer material is fuzzy, soft and cozy, almost like a teddy bear. Oz’s
Remedy Rest bed is size Medium and as you can see, a medium sized dog would fit
comfortably in it.
If you are in search of a supportive and cozy bed for your
senior dog, Oz and I highly recommend the TrustyPup Remedy Rest. For younger
dogs, we encourage you to look into the other categories of TrustyPup beds so
your dog can rest in maximum comfort as well.
Other TrustyPup Pet Beds:
Functional – Pet throws that allow your dog to rest on
furniture while protecting furniture from dirt, fur and wear-and-tear. Also
includes crate mats and indoor/outdoor beds.
Cuddle – Bolstered, high-walled beds for dogs like sleep
curled up to provide the feeling of safety and warmth.
Dr. Oz that fabulous dog bed gets 87 cuddle points... it nearly screams "jump in and take a nap" :o)

A fabulous resting bed will keep him going for ages.
ReplyDeleteThat looks super comfy, Oz!
ReplyDeleteCammie!
That looks very comfy, Oz. You shouldn't have to be a senior to get a comfy bed!
ReplyDeleteOz is not old, 12 is middle age (i should know). And the grey on his beard is showing how distinguished he is. I am glad he has such such a comfy bed for his great and powerful body. The bed looks fab, but I think it would be much better in sparkly pink! xo
ReplyDeleteWow, does that bed every look cozy! I can see Cricket being very happy curled up in there. I'm not sure I have room for another bed in the house right now though...LOL!

We received a new Trusty Pup bed too and the boys LOVE it! Bentley has claimed it as his own since he is all of 8 years old and claiming senior status! Can't wait to tell our friends about it too. Great review, Oz. ♥
