Wow! Our friends at Chewy.com outdid themselves this month by sending me the PetSafe® Busy Buddy® Bristle Bone® chew toy. Ma wasn’t sure if I would like it but dog, this toy is terrierific!
Oz the Terrier is a Chewy.com Influencer. We received PetSafe® Busy Buddy® Bristle Bone® in exchange for spreading the word about the product and Chewy.com services but Oz the Terrier only shares information we feel is relevant to our readers.
The Busy Buddy Bristle Bone is a toy to help with your dog’s dental health. The Bristle Bone has three chewing surfaces to help stimulate gums and keep teeth clean. There are the purple rubber nubs (that are textured), the nylon bone and the nylon bristles that reach in between teeth.
PetSafe includes four Rawhide Treat Rings with the toy to entice your dog to chew more. You can also purchase separately dental treat rings that fit on the toy. The Bristle Bone easily screws apart for you to put the rings on it.
Ma doesn’t allow me to have rawhide so she tried putting small, hard treats in between the bristles and rubber nubs which worked really well. I chewed and gnawed (and pawed) at the Bristle Bone to get all the treats out. It was a lot of fun and I didn’t want to stop playing with it.
Like PetSafe’s other Busy Buddy toys, the Bristle Bone will keep a dog busy which may help with separation anxiety or excessive chewing behaviors and it has the added bonus of being healthy for teeth and gums.
You can find the PetSafe Busy Buddy Bristle Bone at Chewy.com in four sizes X-Small, Small, Medium and Large. You will also find the PetSafe Refill Treats at Chewy as well – just be sure you get the correct size treats to go with your toy.

That looks like an awesome chew toy! Great review, Oz!
ReplyDeleteI have one too and the rawhide was good, not like the common rawhide bones who turn into a slimy stuff what sticks on our teeth and on our gums. I give that tasty toy 4 paws!
ReplyDeleteWe got this for Madison to test out, but she hasn't tried it yet. Since she chews on everything, we have high hopes for this!
ReplyDeleteThis looks pretty cool. Ruby has some dental issues and this might really help. Thanks for the great review!

ReplyDeleteWe can't use things like this, because the crew might fight over them. When I used to pet-sit though, we had a client who had this and she absolutely loved it.
