Bundle Up for Cool Adventures with Kurgo Loft Jacket

With the weather turning cooler, we have to tell you about this new Loft Dog Jacket by Kurgo. We know it doesn’t get as cool here as it does in other parts of the country but when we are camping, the nights can get downright cold in the tent so it always good to pack warmer clothes for ourselves and Oz.

The Loft Dog Jacket is made from rugged Microtomic™ Ripstop material and Polytech fill which is waterproof. The Loft Jacket is ideal for adventure dogs; dogs that will be running, hiking and adventuring in inclement weather. It is designed to keep the dog’s core warm and dry.

As you can see, Kurgo Loft Dog Jacket is a more fitted jacket, allowing your dog to move freely during adventures. It easily goes on your dog by going over the head and attaching behind the front legs with Velcro; no lifting and slipping your dog’s legs through “arm holes”. The Jacket offers a zipper opening between the shoulders so you can attach a leash to your dog’s harness.

The Loft Dog Jacket comes in five sizes to fit all size and breed of dogs. Kurgo provides a sizing chart on their website to help you measure for the best fit. The Loft Dog Jacket will not cover the length of most dogs so neck and chest measurements are the most important.

If your dog is a breed with a deep chest, like Oz and most Terriers, you may find that the dog’s measurements are all over this sizing chart! Don’t panic. Oz’s measurements were a mix of the X-Small and Small sizes. We went with the larger of the two sizes, the Small, because of the depth of his chest and it fits perfectly.
