Last April we told you how Barkworthies, a company that provides all natural, healthy treats and chews for dogs, wanted you to Chews Rescue and join their campaign to support and celebrate rescue dogs. Well, it’s April and it is time again to Chews Rescue as Barkworthies launches their new shelter program.
Oz the Terrier is a consumer of Barkworthies. We are happy to spread the word about Barkworthies new shelter program, Chews Rescue, but we only share information we feel is relevant to our readers.
As part of the Chews Rescue campaign, Barkworthies has pledged to cover the adoption costs for eligible dogs at three shelters – Chicago Canine Rescue, One Tail at a Time, and Austin Pets Alive! – over the weekend of April 30 to promote and support “Adopt a Shelter Pet Day”.
“At Barkworthies, we’ve see first-hand how life changing animal rescue can be, not just for pets but for their owners as well,” comments Avrum Elmakis, CEO & Co-Founder. “We created this program as a way to not only give back, but to also encourage prospective pet parents to adopt.”
Barkworthies hopes to celebrate and inspire more rescue stories with their Chews Rescue program. If you have an inspiring pet adoption story, Barkworthies would love to hear it!
Simply visit Barkworthies Facebook page and submit your rescue story. Your story submission will enter you in the Chews Rescue Contest where five stories will win a Barkworthies prize packet valued at $100.
We invite you to learn more about Chews Rescue and Barkworthies products on the Barkworthies website.
