Whether or not your dog is a picky drinker, hot summer days can lead to dehydration if your dog is not getting enough liquid into his diet. There are many sites that provide tricks to get more liquid into your dog’s diet and all of them are great ideas. We however have one trick that works for Oz on hot summer days – adding Clear Conscience Pet SuperGravy in his water and/or food.
Oz the Terrier is a Clear Conscience Pet Cover Dog. We are happy to spread the word about Clear Conscience Pet products but we only share information that we feel is relevant to our readers.
Clear Conscience Pet SuperGravy is a holistic gravy mix for dogs which is enhanced with digestive enzymes and probiotics for better digestion. It is a great food topper that can be used 1) for picky eaters, 2) as an appetite booster for senior or ill dogs and 3) as enhanced nutrition to keep your dog happy and healthy.
SuperGravy is now formulated to make a delicious, hydrating broth which is great to help dogs beat the summer heat. Simply add five scoops (a measured scoop is included in every package) to a 1 liter or 1 quart jug, shake well and your broth is made. Be sure to refrigerate your leftover broth so it doesn’t go bad.
You may remember Oz’s SuperGravy video from Global Pet Expo when he participated in a demonstration of SuperGravy broth in the Clear Conscience Pet booth. Oz drank an entire bowl of SuperGravy – it is that delicious!
Our friends at Clear Conscience Pet want to make sure every dog stays hydrated during the dog days of summer and so we are offering a giveaway for two flavors of SuperGravy:

that sounds super great!!! and that is the best way to beat that heat... and the solution is not a shower like the mama said, it's gravy ... right?
ReplyDeleteYes, I do believe that this would help my dogs drink more. They love gravy taste.
ReplyDeleteYes. I think it is like the flavor packets for human water. You drink more if it tastes better!
ReplyDeleteThat's good stuff

Well, my three rescued Treeing Walker Coonhounds do drink a lot of water, but I think they really should drink more than they do during the hot summer months. I'd love to be able to encourage them to drink more, and this product sounds great for that!
ReplyDeleteWell the Beaglebratz Ladiez don't seem to have a problem with not drinking enough or being picky but their mom loves to top their food with something yummy - this way I can take care of it all at once. Oh, did just remember - Lady Shasta, who will be 11 this October, has lost several teeth to the vetman so I am always adding water to her kibble to help her eat altho it hasn't interfered not having those teeth. This broth would be a great added taste.
ReplyDeleteFlavoured water...a great idea.
ReplyDeleteYES! I would also give it to them when they start coughing and I want them to drink some water. LOL!
ReplyDeleteIt sounds oh so yummy!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea!!
ReplyDeleteMom always puts some extra water with our kibble to help us keep hydrated. These flavors sound yummmy

I would hope the food will help my dog drink more water. My one dog drinks all the time and I'm not so worried about her. However my other dog seems to drink just once a day.
ReplyDeleteI love water any way I can get it. Always have..from day one!
ReplyDeleteHugs madi your bfff
Our crew is pretty good about their water intake, but adding this sure would not hurt, and I definitely think they would drink even more this way!

What a unique idea! Our layla is terrible for not drinking enough and this may just be the answer.
